Mosab Hassan Yousef - Guest Speaker - Heritage Pointe Luncheon

Mosab Hassan Yousefin one of his first public appearances in Orange County will be the guest speaker at on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Irvine Marriott for the luncheon is sponsored by Heritage Pointe the Jewish Home for the Aged in Orange County.  Mosab Hassan Yousef is a 38 year old Palestinian who worked undercover for Israel's internal security service Shin Bet from 1997 to 2007.

Shin Bet considered him its most valuable source within the Hamas leadership: the information Yousef supplied prevented dozens of suicide attacks and assassinations of Israelis, exposed numerous Hamas cells, and assisted Israel in hunting down many militants, including the incarceration of his own father, a Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef. In March 2010, he published his autobiography titled Son of Hamas.

In 1999, Yousef converted to Christianity and in 2007 moved to to the United States. His request for political asylum in the United States was granted.  He is biographed in the movie “The Green Prince”, available on Netflix.  He lives in the Southern California area, travels with security and speaks occasionally about his 10 years undercover.

Heritage Pointe has approximately 200 residents on 6 acres in Mission Viejo, including several holocaust survivors.  The pledge of Heritage Pointe is that once you become a resident, you won’t outlive your resources.  As many of you know, Jodi Greenbaum is President and Chairman of  Heritage Pointe.
