One Book: OC Reads presents Alan Dershowitz

Alan Dershowitz is a lawyer, jurist, author, and political commentator. He is a prominent scholar on United States constitutional law and criminal law, and a leading defender of civil liberties. He held the Felix Frankfurter Professorship at Harvard Law School from 1993 until his retirement in 2013.

Dershowitz is also a commentator on the Arab-Israeli conflict and has represented a series of celebrity clients.

One of the world’s best-known attorneys gives us a no-holds-barred history of Jewish lawyers: from the biblical Abraham through modern-day advocates who have changed the world by challenging the status quo, defending the unpopular, and following the biblical command to pursue justice.

The book, Abraham, is available at the JCC front desk. Cost is $26 plus tax.
